In 1997, filmmakers James LaVeck and Jenny Stein awakened to the enormous injustice of our society’s treatment of vulnerable humans and our fellow animals. They made a commitment to devote their lives to cultivating a change of consciousness in individuals that might over time contribute to peaceful transformation within society. In this inspirational presentation, James will share the uplifting life lessons, and a few cautionary tales, that have come along with walking an idealistic path that runs contrary to social norms, and at times, even common sense.
