Before You Begin

Read Tribe of Heart's Guidelines for holding a community screening. Look through these carefully, and please contact us if you have questions.

Give yourself enough time. We recommend you set your date two months in advance. Spend the first month doing the ground work. The second month… hit the ground running!

Be not afraid! There’s a lot of information on these pages… don’t let it overwhelm you! This guide is designed to meet the needs of people holding events both large and small, in a wide variety of settings. Not everything will apply to your event.

Whatever the size of your event, planning and preparation are the key to success. If you take the time needed to cover all the bases, you will find that planning a screening is straightforward and fun to do.

Reminders:

- Screenings of Tribe of Heart films may not be used as fundraising events.

- If you are planning a screening of The Witness for an audience of 40 or more, or if you are in a situation where you need to charge admission for screening a Tribe of Heart film, you must contact us in advance for permission.
